There is no pointing in attending a competitive exam without knowing the basic of Mathematics. To score a very good rank in a competitive exam you should be very good in Maths.<\/p>\n<p>Generally for PSC exams questions are asked from the basic mathematics. Posts with higher qualification may contain advanced maths problems but still you should master the basic mathematics very well in order to get a good rank. Bank exams ask a bit more tougher questions but still there speed is more important. You should be able to solve the problems as quickly\u00a0 as possible. The only way to do is practice practice and practice. Solve a lot of previous question papers and increase the speed.<\/p>\n<p>For PSC knowing the basic techniques in mathematics is enough.
