When we use the word \u201c<em>When<\/em>\u201d to connect two sentences to use future continuous tense, the sentence that comes along with when is used in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.examcoaching.in\/blog\/english\/tense\/simple-present-tense\">simple present tense<\/a><\/strong> and the other sentence is said in <strong>future continuous tense<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Sub + will\/shall + be + verb + ing + Obj<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If adverbs like <strong>at\nthis time<\/strong>, <strong>at this time next<\/strong> are\nused then it should be said in future continuous tense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Example<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At this time tomorrow, we will be flying over the Atlantic.<\/li><li>Rani will be sitting in the train this time next Friday.<\/li><li>The boys will be playing football at this time next week.<\/li><li>My dog will be waiting for me when I reach home.  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Time words like <strong>tomorrow<\/strong>, <strong>next week<\/strong>, <strong>next month<\/strong>, <strong>next year<\/strong>, <strong>next Sunday<\/strong> etc are used in <strong>simple future tense<\/strong> and <strong>future continuous tense<\/strong>. To identify in which tense these words are used, check the verb.
