And if the sentence is positive and subject is plural \u2018s\u2019 or \u2018es\u2019 should not be added to the verb so that the verb remains plural. Also if sentence is negative inorder to add \u2018not\u2019 any one of the do(plural)\/does(singular) should be added depending on the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Eg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He goes to school regularly<\/li>\n<li>He does not go to school regularly<\/li>\n<li>They go to school<\/li>\n<li>They do not go to school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Rules for a sentence in simple present Tense<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Simple Present Tense is used to represent universal truths or to represent things that never change.<br \/>\nEg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sita usually reads a book.<\/li>\n<li>Arun visits his hometown once in a bluemoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Simple Present is used t say about a habitual action<br \/>\nEg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My uncle leaves for Delhi next Friday.<\/li>\n<li>Mohan Leaves for Kolkotha next month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Simple Present is used to express a future action that is planned<br \/>\nEg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet me when you come next.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Simple Present is used to represent historic things.\n<ul>\n<li>Eg: The British parliament declares that India is divided into two parts.<\/li>\n<li>India wins her Freedom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Simple Present is used to represent sudden exclamation.<br \/>\nEg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oh!
