This tense is also used to say that an action has already finished in the past.<\/p>\n<p>The format of the tense is given below.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sub + has\/have + PPV + Obj<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Eg:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">He has just gone out.<\/p>\n<p>Words like the one given below are used in this type of sentences to mention it already finished before we say about it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Just, yet, already, since, for, so far, recently<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Eg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They already finished the work.<\/li>\n<li>Tintumon has not completed the work so far.<\/li>\n<li>David has not yet returned my book.<\/li>\n<li>She has just come home.<\/li>\n<li>I haven\u2019t seen her since January.<\/li>\n<li>I have read Chemeen.<\/li>\n<li>We have visited Mysore Palace.<\/li>\n<li>I have passed the SSLC Examination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you say about the time you passed the SSLC examination then you should use Simple Past Tense.<\/p>\n<p>Eg: I passed the SSLC Examination in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Since, for etc. are mainly used in Present Perfect Continuous Tense. But if Non-conclusive verbs or stative verbs are used along with since or for then such sentences should be said in Present Perfect Tense.<\/p>\n<p>Words like yesterday, last, ago, in 2007 etc. which represent the past are not used in this tense.
